Consultation Fees
St Albans Osteopathy has some of the most competitive fees in Christchurch, with no extra charge for the initial consultation.
 
The practice does not have EFTPOS or credit card facilities. Please pay by either cash, cheque or internet banking at the time of your appointment.
 
Fees, when paid at the time of your appointment:

There is a surcharge when the fee is not paid at the time of your appointment of $5.
 
Late cancellations and missed appointments
Please give at least 24 hours notice if you wish to cancel or reschedule. There is no fee for rescheduling within 24 hours, but please help others by giving as much notice as possible. If you miss an appointment or cancel with less than 24 hours notice, there is a charge of $25. If you reschedule an appointment at less than 24 hours notice and then subsequently cancel it, there will be a charge of $25. 

Private medical insurance
Most policies cover osteopath treatment. If you are not sure if your policy does, please ask your insurance company. If your policy does cover osteopath treatment, you should pay the fee for your osteopath treatment at the time of your appointment. You will be given a receipt, which you can then present to your insurance company for a refund.

WINZ beneficiaries
WINZ may be able to help you with the cost of osteopath treatment. Please talk to WINZ about it. Philip will help you with any documentation required. You should pay the fee for your osteopath treatment at the time of your appointment. You will be given a receipt, which you can then give to WINZ.

Map and Directions
St Albans Osteopathy is 5-10 minutes by car from the City Centre, Merivale, Fendalton, Bryndwr, Papanui, Redwood, Shirley, Burwood, Parklands and New Brighton. Easy parking.

Thames Street runs between Innes Road and Westminster Street, three streets to the east of Cranford Street.
Number 43 is opposite Norah Street.

From the city: Madras Street is a good way to come. At the end of Madras St, continue straight along Forfar Street. At the end of Forfar St is a T-junction. Turn right into 
Westminster Street and then first left into Thames Street.

From New Brighton/Shirley: proceed along New Brighton 
Road/Shirley Road/Warrington Street until the Forfar Street roundabout. Turn right. Then as above.

Buses
Buses numbers 14 and 16 run from the Bus Exchange to Harewood and Belfast respectively. Both run along Cranford Street, a 5 minute walk away.
 
The Orbiter stops at Philpotts Road, close to Innes Road, a 10 minute walk away.
 
The Metrostar stops at Barbados Street, close to Warrington Street, a 15 minute walk away.
 
Bus number 46 runs between the Bus Exchange and The Palms, and stops at Innes Road, close to Kensington Avenue, a 10 minute walk away.
